Get us ppe influencer + celebrity support: 2020-2021

In the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic, Get Us PPE was formed in order to provide donated PPE to people and communities that needed it most. In order to spread awareness, we took to social media to partner with celebrities and influencers who were willing to help us spread the word about Get Us PPE. Along with the organization’s Executive director, I managed several influencer and celebrity endorsements including Brittany Xavier (1.6 million followers) and Olympians Maia and Alex Shibutani.


 

Influencer UGC PRoject for Bisou Bisou: 2019

Bisou Bisou, an adorable french bistro nestled in Fort Greene, was struggling to attract customers and had little to no marketing strategy or content. I worked with the owner, a female entrepreneur and restauranteur, to create an online presence for the restaurant. In order to generate high quality images for the website and social media, I partnered with food influencers and bloggers to come to the restaurant for a ‘click, sip, and post’ night — we’d provide food and content for their brands and they’d provide us the images for promotional use. Twenty influencers showed up and produced over 200+ high quality images. Plus, we gained over 100+ followers from the influencers’ communities. A win-win.

 

Personal Project

Art on the Rise: March 2020

As a personal project, I decided to create an event to elevate up-and-coming women artists. Inspired by my creative artist friends, I joined forces with Jonathan Burwell of Duane Park to host a night to celebrate women artists and to actually pay them for their work. We invited 8 artists from different backgrounds to display a piece to be auctioned via raffle. Artists made 100% of the money from their raffle boxes plus an event show fee.
